Howdy Honey! 

 

I am Amberlee Coleman, postpartum doula, and the owner of Honey Blossom Doula Care LLC.

I was born and raised in Ohio, and moved to the central Texas area in 2011. I met my native Texan husband, Austen, in 2010, and we married in 2014. In January 2020, we welcomed our baby girl, Aspen, into the world. When I am not caring for strong Mama’s and tiny humans, I like to spend as much time as possible with my family and loved ones. I enjoy being outdoors, hiking, camping, fishing etc. I also love being creative, drawing, crafting, decorating, baking, reading and exploring local events and activities to do with my daughter! 

 

Honey Blossom Doula Care is my business, career, passion, niche, and means the world to me. Since I was a little girl, I wanted to make a positive impact in the lives of others. First, I became an early childhood educator and studied early childhood development since 2011. I spent many years as an early childhood educator with continuous training. My passion led me to also become a babysitter and Nanny in my free time

The monumental change in my career path was influenced after the birth of our daughter, Aspen. There was so much that I prepared for that I thought necessary when planning for the arrival of our baby girl. I discovered that there was much that I did not know, nor did anybody educate me about what to potentially expect during postpartum. I was oblivious to the self care, and hormonal changes that I needed to prepare for. I lived and learned, researched, studied and became a certified postpartum and birth doula. I have obtained much knowledge and experience assisting women and their significant others and in some cases, relatives and friends during postpartum and prenatal planning. I am driven to continue my learning and constantly evolve my techniques and knowledge to create a positive impact in new and repetitive families that I support.

I do feel as though each and every family I have had the honor of supporting, becomes a special experience that I cherish. 

I sincerely hope that you choose me to be your doula. I treat each and every family individually for each prenatal, birth, and postpartum experience is unique and special in their own way. I would be honored to support and/or guide you and your family’s postpartum period.
